If you are like me and work on the computer most of the day you need to learn how to use keyboard shortcuts to save time typing and working on your projects. I have found it takes a little getting used to using your keyboard, but keep at it and it doesn't take long before you are used to doing it. I was getting very sore wrists from using the mouse all the time and this helped me.
Most Common Keyboard Shortcut Keys
Ctrl + Left arrow Moves one word to the left at a time. Ctrl + Right arrow Moves one word to the right at a time. Shift + End: Highlights the line you are on to the right, and if you keep hitting the End key while you are holding down the Shift key, you will highlight the next line and so on. Shift + Home: Highlight the line you are on to the left back to the beginning. These are just some of the shortcuts for Microsoft Word. There are many more and just about any program you use will have shortcuts to make using the program easier. |
