Viruses and Spyware can and will make changes to your Registry and if you are trying to clean them off your computer, sometimes you need to edit the registry. The Registry is two files stored on your computer called System.dat and User.dat. These files have information on every aspect of your computer. Information about all the hardware inside and connected to your computer, all the software installed and information about all user profiles.
There are 6 parts to the Registry and each one is called a Key.
The Registry is very complicated, and making any changes to it can cause major problems if you are not careful. One little change can stop your computer from running.
"IMPORTANT" This is the reason bad things can happen whenever you install new hardware and software. When you install something to your computer, it will make changes to the registry. Sometimes these changes can affect other parts of your computer can cause problems. This means you should always do a System Restore before you install any hardware or software. 5. I like to name
the file with the Date of your Backup and make a Folder called
Registry Backups. Then just click Save.
